Noé Jimenez lives and works in New Haven, CT. His paintings are the surface for personal and cultural memory, translating the natural and human-made world into a bountiful visual language. His work is deeply involved with color, texture, and form as the core translators of perception. Noé graduated with a BFA in Painting from Paier College of Art in 2012. He has studied painting at Colegio de España, Salamanca, Spain, University of Urbino, Italy, and Altos De Chavon, Dominican Republic. He was a resident at Norðanbál on Hrisey Island in Iceland. His work has been included in solo and group shows in Connecticut, California, Rhode Island, New York and private collections. Noé also enjoys curating art exhibitions featuring other artists.
